Eyelid Surgery Thailand also known as blepharoplasty is a procedure to repair the upper or/and eyelids which is basically a reconstructive plastic surgery of the eyelids. The goal of the eyelid surgery is to restore function to the eye structure which is deformed by the eyebags.

Eyelid surgery is recommended for those who want to remove the excess fatty tissue, muscle and loose skin around the eye, and to create a more youthful, wide-eyed look.
You should stay in Thailand at least 10 days to complete the whole process. After eyelid surgery you don't need to stay over night at the hospital. Follow upcheck up and stitches removal will be done after 7 days from the surgery.
Eyelid surgery takes approximately 1-2 hours. Incisions are made in the natural crease lines of the eyelids. These incisions are closed with very fine stitches.
Eyelid surgery is usually performed under general anaesthesia but local anaesthesia can be used.
After an eyelid surgery, a patient will have to use cold compress for 2 days to reduce swelling and bruising. Bruising varies from person to person but typically lasts from 2 weeks to a month.
The scars will be in the fold line and fade within 6 months or more, nearly invisible white line.
Pain, Bruising and swelling for at least the first 48 hours after the surgery. This is usually gone after the first 10 days. For this reason your vision may be temporarily affected.
